Winter Herbarium Mug

Description

Holly, mistletoe, ivy, rosemary and cedar are arranged across this winter botanical mug like specimens in an antique herbarium. Fine roots, berries, needles and pinecones stand out against warm, timeworn paper, giving the design the quiet charm of a vintage natural-history plate. The seasonal plants nod to the holidays, while the scholarly style fits a desk or breakfast table well beyond December. Deep greens, berry reds and soft cream tones keep the palette warm and gentle.

It makes a distinctive gift for a botanist, an herb gardener, a librarian, a history teacher or a collector of old botanical prints. It also suits a friend who loves cooking with fresh rosemary, or a relative who already has plenty of bright holiday decor and prefers something quieter. The original full-wrap artwork lets each plant study take its place around the cup, so there is always another specimen to notice over the rim.

Choose the 11 oz size for a small, steady cup of tea, or the 15 oz size if you tend to refill less often. Both sizes carry the same plant studies on glossy white ceramic, printed to order, and both are safe in the dishwasher and microwave.
